I use a lot of html markup on my pages via the text editor. However, wordpress loves to add a lot of extra breaks and random <p> tags. With the way the site is constructed at the moment, I don’t use Guttenberg or any other page builder.
I used to use the plugin – Preserved HTML Editor Markup Plus, but it hasn’t been updated in 4 years and I don’t feel great about that. Many of the other plugins I’ve seen are also not updated.
Is there a known line of code or something along those lines that I can use to resolve this issue? Or any other way of getting past this problem?
