It feels like a stupid question, and it probably is, but you never know until you ask. So, as a favor to a graphic designer I’ve worked with in the past I agreed to revamp a website for a local non-profit that helps kids in need. The conversation started out by simply asking for a newer version of what they already have. No big deal, I build websites all the time for a living.
Then it snowballed into the graphic designer creating this super detailed and intricate home page that I absolutely do not want to piece together bit by bit because it would be much more time consuming than I originally agreed to. After a chat with her about it she agreed make PSD files of this colorful conglomerate of graphic mastery she has designed, but she has yet to do that.
The board of this non-profit has started asking where their website is. I don’t want them to have to wait any longer so I decided just to start on this, and while work I figured I’d float the question to the internet to see if there’s a faster way.
