I’ve only ever built fully custom themes in agency environments. While I would love to continue doing everything custom for my freelance work, I’m finding that the most gettable clients don’t have the budget to make that worth my while.
I’m thinking that using something like Elementor or Divi and creating fully custom home pages or key modules will allow me to save a ton of time on inner pages by just using the page builder. Plus obviously a killer custom home page design should in theory separate me from the pack to some degree (though who knows in this market).
All that to say, does anyone have experience with building fully custom pages/sections in these or other page builders? Which would you recommend? Not really sure where to start (note: I have experience using native and custom Guernberg blocks, but I wasn’t a huge fan of that).
