So I just started using WordPress and I am looking to create a unique website for a work/portfolio page as well as a shop where people can buy my custom pieces (I make custom leather clothing and bags). So an e-commerce website and blog.
The plugins can cost money or be free. It really doesn’t matter just want the best ones for my website.

Could you provide us with a bit more information? What plugins are you looking for? If you’re skilled enough, I’d try to avoid using unnecessary plugins. But I’d start by installing WooCommerce if you want to build a shop. If you have any specific features in mind, I can recommend many more. Let me know!
You would want to start with the design of the site. Many themes offer hundreds of templates so you have a place to start, for example the Astra theme. It even has a build in AI website creator, which is free.
For ecommerce, I would stay away from WooCommerce because its very complex and expensive with all the addons to do basic things. You can try SureCart and avoid all of that.
You should also add a backup plugin. There are many quality free ones. I think WPVivid is the best of the free backup plugins.
You may want a caching plugin, its usually better to use a web host that offers Litespeed servers which lets you use the free LSCache plugin.
