It seems that most theme designs fall into several categories – e-commerce, business, creative portfolio or news/magazine. I was wondering which style of homepage people find works best for a site which just has ‘information’ on it, which might not be updated all that regularly but is still a useful resource.
For example, let’s say you were building a site all about pasta. You might have a separate page for all the different shapes and types of pasta, but how would you go about laying out the homepage?
