Hello! I manage a WooCommerce site that’s linked to a physical store through a POS system. In the past, we hired an agency that installed nearly 50 active plugins to add various functionalities as requested. They built our site using Elementor and the Hello Elementor theme. I currently work as a junior WordPress developer at my company, and I’m seeking advice on how to rebuild our site to improve Core Web Vitals and page speed, ultimately achieving the fastest possible performance.
Our site sells beer in multiple countries and uses the Polylang plugin. I’m looking to drastically reduce the number of plugins and completely remove Elementor. Could you suggest an alternative solution that is more efficient? I aim to keep costs low while minimizing security risks and potential conflicts. Let me know if custom solution is better or any lightweight theme?
