I am learning how to use WordPress and I am following a YouTube tutorial. I was experimenting with starter templates. I selected a starter template under the Astra theme and I applied it. It created for me some pages under posts and pages in the WordPress dashboard. Also it added some demo pictures. After that I selected another starter template and I applied it. New pictures were added and the home page looked ugly because the text wasn’t clear on top of the pictures.
Next I picked another starter template under the Kadence theme and I applied it. I still got the same ugly home page with the same pictures and text. After that I deleted all the extra pages and posts from the dashboard and I kept my posts and pages and then I deleted the Kadence theme and Astra theme and I reinstalled them.
Now when I selected a starter template under the Kadence theme and I applied it I got an error message which said whoops there is nothing there on the home page and also there were no pictures. I selected another starter template under the Kadence theme and I applied it. I got the same thing. Next I selected another starter template under the Astra theme and I applied it. There error message on the home page went away but there are still no pictures.
My website is [https://test.mds.ae/](https://test.mds.ae/). I want to ask what went wrong? Why did I get there error message on the home page? Why are there no pics? How do I undo what I did so that when I pick a new starter template and I apply it I get a proper website with pictures?
Is it a caching problem with WordPress? The pictures of the theme the starter template that I am on now are in the media library in the dashboard but they are not getting loaded in the website after I view it.

It is better to reset to factory settings whenever you want to switch to a new starter theme from another. Else, the data and files will get messy and strange things might happen.
I use the plugin called wp reset or something that helps to clear the theme before I install another starter theme.
