What would be the best way to achieve this?

[ad_1]

I am currently building a website, and one of the main functionalities will be a “calculator/filter”.

It is for jewellery, and the way this needs to work is the user will select for example; a colour, a size, a shape and depending on their choices will be shown a price.

I have an excel sheet of all the variables and the price each one results in, there is no real mathematical calculation to each result, more just ‘blue+small+round=400’ for example or ‘red+large+sqaure=650’.

I have tried numerous plugins, and also tried to set it up as a woocommerce store and add all the variables to a product and then filter but this is messy and doesn’t really work how I’d wish.

The other problem is the final value for each variable will need to be changed slightly each month. Doing this manually is no problem if necessary.

Does anyone have any ideas what the best approach would be for this?

  1. You may want to create a custom plugin. If you already have a spreadsheet, you could perhaps export it as csv and base all calculations off of the csv file
