The SKU can be anything you want it to be – in general, it’s a unique identifier for your inventory. I believe the ID column is the Post ID, which has to be an integer and is usually auto-generated when you create a new product (or any content in WP). This ID will need to be unique to anything else on your site (including pages, posts, media, other custom post types, etc.).
