I'm looking to build a list of sites I can use that offer copyright free images. I did find some on Google but I wanted to find out if there is a popular one to use.
Mostly for:
Realtors
Construction
Photographers
Unsplash is our go-to for most “free” images – most clients don’t like them and will end up paying for photos or providing us actual photos which looks better in the end.
I usually go with Google Images and select the “**Creative Commons licenses**” and then navigate to all the portals where royalty frees images are easily found like [pexels.com](http://pexels.com) or pixabay or flicker or wiki images and the like.
It would be great if you could share your list, as you said you already have sort of a list.
For me, the best one is https://unsplash.com/license.
It appreciates, but doesn’t require annotations.
openverse.org or the photo directory at https://wordpress.org/photos/

The instant images plugin is great for this. [Instant Images – One Click Image Uploads from Unsplash, Openverse, Pixabay and Pexels – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org](https://wordpress.org/plugins/instant-images/) .

Unsplash, Pixabay, Pexels, but also [Nappy.co](http://Nappy.co) (ethnic)
I use Canva for most of my social media and small design projects. The stock image library in Canva is pretty good, not great. I like knowing anything I use from Canva is licensed for my client use.
I resent doing a google search for royalty-free images and getting pages and pages of hits to iStock and other for-pay licensed image sites. #enshittification
Unsplash and Pexels are great for copyright free images. You can see other [cc0 image sites here](https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/16-sources-for-free-public-domain-and-cc0-licensed-images/).
[WordPress.org](http://WordPress.org) also has a [Photos directory](https://wordpress.org/photos/) that you can try.
I use ai, ideogram and playground ai,

I use many of the ones listed here, but StockSnap is also a good choice!
Just use people’s work. They cant contact u if u don’t have a contact form

Unsplash, pixabay or generate with ChatGPT subscription
Unsplash, Pixabay, Pexels. Pixabay is okay, but I mainly go there for vector type stuff.
Explore Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay, each offering a unique selection of high-quality images.
In general all pictures on my websites are made by me or my customers. I think that’s better than pictures that might already be 1000 times on other websites.
