I’m having a bit of a problem as total WordPress noob here. I have a modest background in webdev and understand the use of JS, HTML, CSS and PHP, have used frameworks like Laravel for sites. Now I have to make an e shop for a client and one of their requests is to have a sidebar that slides out on click and displays the main product categories that would display further sub-categories after clicking. This has proven to be more of a hassle than I first anticipated. I’m using the Blocksy theme and genuinely don’t understand if I’m not grasping the power of the theme or is there simply no tool in it to make this happen. No luck with finding any plugins for the category menu either. Is this the moment where I have to start fiddling with custom code or is there a better way?
