When you click add new plugin in the wordpress menu, the plugins appear in a grid. You click on one of the plugin choices and it pop ups into focus, and you can read all about the plugin in the popup. What is this design called?

I’m looking for a similar design for post archive page- where there is a grid, and you click on a post in the grid and it appears center stage, and you can read the entire post there.

I dont know how to find a plugin that does this. Is it called an archive grid lightbox, flipcard, popup? Does anyone know what this design type is called and what plugins have it?
