Where are my pages / and posts stored on wordpress server?

Im trying to find bad pages and links that are showing up in search console errors and I have no idea

how to find the actual posts and blog pages . Where are they on my hosting server? which directory? Ive checked everywhere…. wp includes, content etc…. cant find them

I want to check for and delete what seems to be posts and pages with errors google is pissed about …

  1. All content is stored in the database. Content is managed via the wp dashboard. It sounds like this isn’t your site, and/or you didn’t build it?

  2. WordPress creates the website dynamically. It doesn’t create it using files and folders and things, it creates it in a database and builds each page at the time you load it.

    So your pages and posts are stored in the database, but they don’t have the full HTML, that’s just the text of the post. For example.

    The rest of the page is built by the theme, and so if there are errors in the HTML, they will be in the theme. Probably.

    Basically, it is not the same as building a static website, at all. You have to be more specific about what you want to change, and where it is, before we can give you actual advice on where you should look for it.

  3. Depends if you have a left or right hand server and if you ever used a server stretcher on it.
