I am trying to use a custom gmail from google workspace but since wordpress manages and hides the CNAME record I can’t use the google domain’s default name servers which is where the mx and txt settings for the gmail are. I cannot add those to the custom name servers so the only way to have both the google workspace email and wordpress CNAME is to use default name servers.
Why can’t I see the CNAMEs and what am I supposed to do in this situation if wordpress refuses to show them so I can’t manually add them to the default name servers.
You won’t find CNAMES anywhere in WordPress. You need to be looking at wherever you host your DNS.
Hire a developer to set up the cname, mx and txt records.
