To make a low budget marketplace, which platform is the best, WordPress, shopify, wix or something else?
I am thinking of making a marketplace for vendors and buyers can meet directly without going through google, but I don’t have a large budget, in fact I don’t even have a budget. I am a DIY guy, so just me, my laptop and some of my sparetime after work. The prototype does not even need any payment function at all, just the info: such as vendor name, address, products description, contact details, same for the buyers. Any suggestion is welcomed.

What type of marketplace? It will be hard to compete with users doing a Google search or going to Facebook Marketplace first.
