I am a volunteer at a social/charity non-profit organization with a 0 $ budget to set up a functioning WordPress site. I work with social media marketing but have minimal experience setting up WordPress sites. The club members are dwindling because we need a website or proper membership or sign up page, or donation page.
I would like to ask someone if they know the necessary plugins I could use to achieve the list below since there is no budget for a developer or even much for paying for a plugin.
1. There needs to be a page under the Login/register, where they can sign up, here I need to be able to ask them for custom information.
2. There will then be a page where they can buy a yearly or half yearly membership, which should only be purchasable for registered users. (Like an add to cart function, but also that it has an expiry date)
3. There will be a part where someone can register for events, eg, charity lunch, but these events should be only applicable if they are a registered user. It gets trickier because some events will be for paid registered users, and some for not paid registered users (those that didn’t buy the membership) to apply to.
I know I am going out on a limb here, but if anyone has any idea how to do this, or the right plugins to achieve this, please let me know 🙂
