Hello, I’m a graphic designer and I had to build a website portfolio for a class. I simply used Adobe Portfolio because it was included with my subscription, but I’d like to move to WordPress and future-proof my site.
I’m interested in getting into blogging which is one reason I’m looking into WordPress. I’d like to have a blog connected to my portfolio site. I may also begin some digital products in the future.
Based on these things, should I use [Wordpress.com]) or [wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org)?
I’ve been trying to do research on my own, but everywhere I go I’m seeing people say to avoid [wordpress.com]).
I already purchased a domain name. I’d like to begin staging a new site, but I can’t figure out which is best for my needs.
If I move my portfolio to [Wordpress.com]) how difficult would it be to convert to .org?
