White screen of death recovery

[ad_1]

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday three of my sites went down with the “white screen of death”. The WSoD was shown on both my front and rear end of my sites, so I was locked out.

After reading up on how to fix the problem I used Filezilla to disable the plugins on one of the sites, this allowed me back in to the websites dashboard.

Around this time I got an auto generated email from wordpress indicating that there was in fact a problem with the Elementor Pro plugin, so with that knowledge I reactivated all plugins except Elementor Pro.

The website is back up and running but all of my blog posts have disappeared ! All posts and their content are still in the dashboard as normal, but they are not displayed on the front of the site.

Do any the experts here know how to fix this problem?

I’ve already tried restoring a backup of the site from a few days back, but it didn’t fix the problem.

To fix the other two websites I simply disabled Elementor Pro and they are both fine, so presumably the disappearing posts has something to do with me disabling all plugins.

Can anyone offer suggestions to get my content back?

Thanks in advance
