Why aren’t all plugins moved into a tab called “Plugins”

[ad_1]

**Like Shopify does?** It would simplify things a 1000. Instead of going on an adventure everytime I have to install a plugin for a client. Instead of removing number of instalations shown in the public directory they should do useful things like this. FFS.

  1. It’s the lack of clear coding standards.

Even those standards that are enforced on the initial upload/release of the plugin in the wordpress.org repository, can be totally ignored in subsequent version releases – unless some major abuse happens.
