  1. I don’t know what plugin you’re using, but you don’t need one. Changing permalinks is built in.

  2. You don’t need to nest everything under any specific subfolder really. I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure it’s just a preference. If you want it that way you can have them default to that in settings I’m pretty sure (on phone or I’d check for you)
