Why Slugs are being repeated if it is a One Word Title?

This is kinda weird.

When I name a page a one-word name, the URL duplicates the slug automatically.

In my case, I set a page to be **connect**:

But when I visit the page, the URL will be like this:

​

While if I call it **contact me**, it will not repeat.

I thought the problem is with repeating the word twice (in the title & slug fields), and I tried to remove it from the title and keep it only in the slug field, and vise-versa, also didn’t work.

The parent page isn’t call connect also, of course.

What’s the problem?
