Wildlife sanctuary needed WordPress/WooCommerce/Printift help!

Hello Redditors!

The Limbe Wildlife Centre is a wildlife sanctuary based in Cameroon. We rescue animals that are victims of the illegal wildlife trade – including gorillas, chimpanzees, monkeys, parrots… and many more! We have a website, which helps us bring in vital funds – we are a not-for-profit organization and we rely on funds from individual and institutional donors to do our work. So, we decided we wanted to add a shop to our website to sell products we have designed on Printful. This is where our problems began… We are not experts when it comes to WordPress, and despite troubleshooting and trying many things, we are at a loss at how we fix the problems we are facing.

Each time we activate the WooCommerce plugin, we get a critical error notification, and the whole thing white screens. The only way we can reset it is by going through the FTP client and manually disabling the WooCommerce plugin. After updating some templates we are not experiencing this problem anymore. However, we are still experiencing problems elsewhere.

1. The plugin seems to be causing critical errors on other plugins (such as Yoast SEO).
2. We need to install the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin to process our payments, but this also causes a site-wide critical error
3. When we try to connect Printify to our WooCommerce store, we get a 500 Internal Server Error message (500 Internal Server Error occurred! Please check your server logs for a detailed issue description.)
4. The admin area just does not run how it is supposed to since we have installed WooCommerce. We often get error messages such as “This site can’t be reached, \[website\] took too long to respond” when trying to load the admin page. This could be the poor wifi connection in Cameroon, but it seems to have only become a problem since installing WooCommerce.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems or can offer some advice on how we may be able to fix this problem?

Thank you in advance, from a desperate wildlife sanctuary with limited website design knowledge!

NB: We don’t know where to find internal serve logs or error logs on our website.
