Wix Blog posts to WordPress migration?

[ad_1]

Hi all,
I have searched the internet far and wide to find an answer for this but I haven’t had any luck as I think Wix changed their system a few years ago.
I’m struggling to get my 200 posts from Wix to WordPress. I tried the blog-feed.xml but it only takes the last 20 and CMS2CMS doesn’t appear to exist anymore.

Is there anyway to do this now? And if not then what is the best way to get the content over without messing up the SEO etc.

Thanks, pretty new to this stuff so go easy on me please!

  1. Yes!

As you’ve noticed, Wix is a closed system and doesn’t like you to export your data.

If you head over to [WordPress.com](http://WordPress.com) and create a free account, they have a Wix importer. Essentially it scrapes your Wix site and recreates it for you. Once done, you can then export the results as a standard WordPress export and take it to whichever host you want.

Here are the details on how to do it: [https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-from-wix/](https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-from-wix/)
