I understand how the woocommerce addon works with simple wp if the person is a new woocommerce customer.
A. But what if they are an existing woocommerce customer? They already have an account on woocommerce and then they want to join our club and pay the annual membership fee. How does that work?
B. If we decide to go the woocommerce addon route for membership payments how is the following handled:
We have 150 paid members that are not in simple wp or woocommerce yet. We need to import all of them into simple wp with a paid membership. That part will be done with simple wp import add on.
We would want them to renew their membership (because we do calendar year membership) they will have to purchase a new membership, not renew a membership. When they go into woocommerce for the next year membership, they will not have an account on woocommerce, so it will want to create a new membership on woocommerce and export to simple wp, so they would duplication of members on simple wp. So, I assume instead of importing already existing members into simple wp we would need to import them into woocommerce instead, but since it is an import woocommerce will not create the membership in simple wp. So do we need to import in woocommerce and in simple wp?
