Hey everyone,
My admin pages for WooCommerce load very slow. I have been assuming it was a database thing but just added Query Monitor and found this:
Page Generation Time
11.2950s
37.7% of 30s limit
Peak Memory Usage
80,003,960 bytes (76.3 MB)
29.8% of 256 MB WordPress limit
29.8% of 256 MB server limit
Database Queries
0.1174s
Total: 1,058
My longest query is 0.0025 vs any other page
Page Generation Time
1.8625s
6.2% of 30s limit
Peak Memory Usage
36,414,120 bytes (34.7 MB)
13.6% of 256 MB WordPress limit
13.6% of 256 MB server limit
Database Queries
0.0267s
Total: 53
As you can tell the database queries are a little longer but it doesn’t seem excessive to me. The memory is higher but well within what I have available. Do you have any ideas on what could be causing this slower page loads?
I have 12GB of ram on the VPS and 2 “dedicated” CPU cores ( Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v2 @ 2.70GHz )

Open the page in chrome. Right-click and INSPECT. Use the Performance tab of dev tools… reload page- it will show exactly what loads and how long it takes.
It’s usually clients using 2mb product images that slows things down. Optimise images first. But the above will tell you what’s happening.
