I would love to bring this integration into Pods core or a free add-on but there’s more effort to make that happen and still more things changing in WooCommerce like the new product add/edit screens in the works. I’m working on support for the product add new form next but when I started working on it, WooCommerce has already completely changed how that screen gets built at the code level since to restart some of my work.
