We are using PixelYourSite for GA4 tracking, but we were previously using another plugin that didn’t work as well.
Recently, we discovered that all of the orders from the card reader at our kiosk started tracking in GA4. I believe this could be due to the Google Analytics Advanced Purchase Tracking toggle being on, but can’t be sure.
I am reaching out to confirm whether or not anyone else is experiencing this, and what the true fix would be.
I am thinking with GA4 if we want to track in-person payments we should setup a different data stream that tracks the in-person payments separately, or at the very least turn off tracking for the in-person payments.
Please advise on the best solution.
