Hello! So, I have a plan (more of a draft) to experiment on and I want some insight. I’ve already developed themes with the Roots stack and Timber\\Twig, but never with the WordPress blocks with FSE. I want to learn that and, if possible, make some really needed cash.
My plan is:
1. Create a WooCommerce multi-site website with two domains
1. **mysite.com**: where WooCommerce and all the features will live.
2. **admin.mysite.com:** a custom dashboard with statistics, options to add, edit or remove products, edit some headings and other stuff with the ACF Pro *options page* feature and a link to the FSE edit page
2. Pull data from the *wp-admin* to the **admin subdomain** (I will use WordPress UI for that to keep the consistency with the FSE editor, they all their components in Storyblok)
3. Develop a nice UI based on **shadcn/ui** and other components library (I’ll create components using create-blocks from the WP-CLI) for both the store and admin panel
4. Keep the actual *wp-admin* to developers only.
5. To do it, use Tailwind CSS (I’m pretty used to it), WooCommerce and ACF Pro
I just would love to hear some insights. If it works out well and plan to sell it to some local stores in my city. Is it a good approach to WordPress development? Did you do something similar? Am I doing some overkill? Hope you can help me!
