WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips

[ad_1]

Hi @barrymatser,

This is not actually an issue, but a normal behavior: The invoice creation is not necessarily done after the order placement. In fact, stores that also receive offline payments, doesn’t create an invoice until they confirm the payment, which can be several days later.

That said, if you want to use the order date as invoice date, you can set this under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Documents > Invoice > Display invoice date (choose Order Date here).

Please note that after applying this change, it will affect only new orders, not previous orders.

Thank you for your reaction. Indeed, the date of the purchase invoice made from the first of November is the same. Only the old bills for example for October do not match

Did you check the setting I mentioned above? If so, which option you have selected?

Yep! Display invoice date, I chose Order Date. I have an error in with the previous invoices. For the whole of October =(

That explains the difference between dates, which is not an error, as I explained above, but one of the ways to handle dates.

That said, if you want to update the invoice date for previous orders to follow your order date, you’ll need to update it manually within the PDF document data, by clicking in the pencil icon:
