WooCommerce permalinks for product categories returning 404

Hello,

I’m facing an issue with my WooCommerce store’s permalink structure. I’ve set up my product permalinks to be in the format *”/shop/%product_cat%/”* (example: *”website.com/shop/shirts/black-shirt/”*), which works fine for individual product pages.

However, I’m having trouble with the category permalink structure. Logically, I want my category permalinks to be *”/shop/%product_cat%/”* too (example: *”website.com/shop/shirts/”*), but when I change the WordPress permalink settings to this format (Product category base: *shop/*), the category permalinks do change to *”website.com/shop/shirts/”*, but all my product category pages start returning a 404 error. So for now I have to use Product category base: *shop/category*

I’ve tried a lot of things, but I can’t seem to figure out the solution. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or knows how to properly set up category permalinks in this scenario? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
