Woocommerce Replaced my Homepage?

[ad_1]

I don’t know if this is a common issue, or something that has been brought up before, but I have been in the final steps of using WordPress/Woocommerce to create an online store. Setting up Woocommerce was the last step before finishing everything, and, when clicking through the prompts I was given, I misunderstood the step of “create a custom homepage” and clicked continue. The problem is that I already had a homepage set up perfectly, and I should have hit skip. Now, my website as just “[website.com](https://website.com)” is this thing that Woocommerce made, and it moved the page that was initially there to “[website.com/home.”]”) I figured this might be an easy fix, but I just cannot figure it out, and now my raw website URL is this strange thing instead of this thing that was made for it that took a very long time. The only solution I can find is to simply remake this page that Woocommerce created into the exact same thing that I had, which I really, really want to avoid. I am in pretty dire need of help on this, and any questions to make it more clear I can answer.

  1. I don’t recall WC offering the option. But I doubt it would have overwritten your page – so you should be able to go into Settings > Reading and set your old homepage

  2. You can choose which is the homepage and the store in settings. They can also be the same if desired.
