Hi. I just migrated a site to its new server. Went to edit a page and couldn’t save it – 403 error. Checked WordFence (free) and all pages are displaying garbage looking text like some encoding or something is wrong. I wanted to put it back in learning mode but unable to without being able to read. Many labels are readable but not any text. Deactivated WF and was able to edit site and save again. Checked dev site, WF is exactly the same there! Different server, different host.
Anyone know what to do. The migration popped up an error about text encoding and this may be related. I selected the default offering (utf-8 I think) so maybe that was wrong. All else seems fine though. I do not know where to even change that setting!
EDIT – Sorry this seems to be a problem only in Chrome browser. In Safari and Firefox all is good!
