I’m a junior software engineer/developer looking for work. I have previously worked as a WordPress Developer for a co-op position, but I can’t say I’m proficient with WordPress.
I recently applied to a ‘WordPress App Developer’ position and got an email back saying:

Can’t blame me for mass applying to any relevant jobs. I’ve no clue what they’re talking about, or that ‘WordPress mobile app developer’ was even a thing. Considering I’ll die of starvation soon I want to try and get the job, even if I’m not qualified.
Can somebody eli5 exactly what this is so that I can study it a bit, and possibly cook up some small project quickly in order to showcase it?
