I am currently experiencing an issue with automatic WordPress updates, specifically with plugins not updating automatically. The error message displayed in the plugin section reads “Automatic update overdue by 2 weeks. There may be a problem with WP-Cron.”
I have attempted to resolve the issue by installing “Companion Auto Update,” but unfortunately, even with this plugin installed, the automatic updates are still not working. I have confirmed that automatic updates are enabled in the plugin section, so that cannot be the problem.
I have conducted extensive research on this issue and have tried numerous solutions, but I am still unsure why the automatic updates are not functioning properly. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for how to resolve this issue? I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
