Hi everyone,

About a year ago, I started building websites from scratch, even though I didn’t know any coding beforehand. Figuring out WordPress was a bit tough at times too. But, here we are now – everything’s set up and good to go, like making sure the site runs smoothly, using CDNs, saving stuff in cache, setting up products, getting images right, and sorting out pages – basically, the whole deal. There’s just one thing left to tackle: SEO stuff, which means creating short but solid descriptions for all the images on my site.

You’d think, “Oh, just go to the media library and change them one by one.” But the twist is, I’ve got over 2000 images, and since my site is all about flowers, those descriptions need to be short and spot-on. Luckily, dealing with a bunch of products has taught me some Excel tricks. I used a plugin to pull out image names and came up with a way to match them with certain details from a list. That lets me create really good descriptions for each image.

Now, the only hitch is getting these descriptions into WordPress. I’ve seen a bunch of plugins that help you move stuff in and out (like CSV files), but they either cost a lot (one-time or subscription), or they don’t work well for what I need.

Do any of you know some good plugins that can help me add all these descriptions together quickly? It could be something that fits right into WordPress or even uses an Excel file.

Wishing you an awesome day ahead.

Cheers,
