WordPress.com not sending lost password emails

[ad_1] [Wordpress.com]) seems very reluctant to send out password recovery emails after I apparently accidentally overwrote my [wordpress.com]) password with my [wordpress.org]) password in my password manager. After 10 or 15 requests (using an email address, not my username), it only sent the password recovery email once. Of course once should be enough, except that it became clear when I used that recovery email that I had used that email address for a much older [Wordpress.com]) account that I had long ago abandoned. This means that I must have used a different email account for the account I have lost the password for, but since [Wordpress.com]) isn’t sending the recovery emails, I have no way of working out even which email address it is I used, let alone actually recover the account. I’ve tried requesting a recovery email using my username, but, as I said, I have received nothing in any of my email accounts. What can I do?
