WordPress CSS only works on homepage and not on other pages or posts?

[ad_1]

Hi

I have searched everywhere for an answer but to no avail.

The attached CSS only works on the homepage and not globally. How can I have it apply for the whole website? The same situation applies for both desktop and mobile.

  1. Not sure if there’s enough info in the pic to tell. Looks like the top two things are targeting something within the class of .home

Is that what’s limiting it to only affect the home page? Or does that .home class show up on elements on all your pages?

Also are you putting this into some sort of global style sheet, or something that is being called on every page? Or are you only adding these CSS styles TO the homepage?

If you want to test the scope, just add a CSS style like “body {display: none;}” and then see if all your pages disappear. If they don’t then where ever you’re entering that CSS it’s not getting called in on every page. if it DOES make all your pages disappear, then it’s working, there’s just something else wrong.

random sidenote: have you cleared your various caches lately? like browser cache, wordpress cache, server cache, etc… sometimes that’ll get ya.
