WordPress doesn’t create different image sizes after uploading

i have WordPress on XAMPP and when i upload an image it doesn’t add it with different sizes. only the original size.

i checked permissions for the “uploads” folder.

checked settings -> media and it’s set to 3 different sizes with cropping enabled.

anything more to try?

  1. Maybe you are missing imagemagick or whatever php library WP uses in the back to generate the other image sizes?
