WordPress Domain Change SSL Problem

Hello, I’m having a problem trying to change my domain on WordPress, maybe someone knows what I’m doing wrong…I’m hitting a roadblock with the SSL certificate. Here is my situation:

* I added my new domain and got the name servers all set up with my host, DigitalOcean.
* I then duplicated/cloned my droplet/VPS from a snapshot for a new IP.
* Then on the new droplet I used the virtual console to change the “wp\_home” and “wp\_siteurl” which enabled me to access the WordPress admin.
* I then ran Better Search Replace and swapped all the url instances. And this worked and the site loads, but I get the “this site is not secure” warning blockade.
* I looked at the certificate and it is still reading as the old domain, which makes sense since it’s issued.
* I then tried removing the old certificate in the virtual console with certbot but something isn’t right and I get errors all over the place when I try to do anything SSL related. I can’t remove it, and I can’t add a new one, all I get is errors.

I think I need to delete this cloned droplet and start again. What’s the best way to do this to avoid the SSL problem? I’m imagining something is flawed with my whole approach to this problem.

Thank you!
