  1. Works perfectly fine in my experience. If you’re able to have the other blog/site active before getting rid of the existing one, that would make testing it a much easier process.

    Or look into [localwp.com]) and set up a test site on your computer to ensure everything gets imported correctly before cancelling/getting rid of your current blog.
