WordPress Gutenberg and Firefox Android issue update

[ad_1]

Previous post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wordpress/comments/1ewaw6a/gutenberg_native_hamburger_menu_not_working_in/

I've done more troubleshooting and the issue has gotten more complicated. On pages where I have a native gutenberg image block and/or the native gutenberg query loop with 'forced reload' NOT toggled on, the hamburger menu doesn't do anything, not even acknowledge it was tapped by a highlight.

For pages with a query loop that has force reload toggled on, it works.

Removing the images from the page also allows it to work.

More information that might be relevant: I also have Generate Blocks installed and use it sparingly for interesting design and modifying layout parameters between desktop and mobile, and I've used it for these purposes in the Header and Templates.

I've asked another person I know who runs Firefox Android to test it and they have the same result, and also the same result of it working in the other browsers they use.

I've gotten my phone set up for debugging but I have no idea what I'm looking at or how to fix it as I'm not a developer. I'm just trying to build a portfolio, lol.

This page has a query loop on it with no images in it and the 'force reload' turned off

This page has images and no query loop. It does also have some Generate Blocks blocks, but I've tested that these don't affect the activation of the menu.

Any help with this would be amazing. I don't understand why core Gutenberg blocks are causing this issue with each other.

Update: I did a backup of the site in case this ruined something and disabled plugins one at a time, starting with the least vital. Disabling the Gutenberg plugin (one of the last ones) made it so the hamburger menu finally worked. I reactivated all the other plugins (which seem to have retained everything they do, yay!) and then enabled Gutenberg again and it broke again.

Disabling it doesn't seem to have affected my site formatting, which I'm grateful for. I have it installed because when I started learning WordPress a year or so ago, the version of Gutenberg included in the core install was missing a lot of functionality, which it seems to have integrated now.

I'll be reporting this wherever bug reports for this should go. Thanks to everyone who helps here!
