WordPress Issue

[ad_1]

So I created a website using WordPress installed on XAMPP on my PC and it was working fine. The formatting was in the Dark Fairy theme and it looked… not great, but it had a look to it and I could access the WP Dashboard. Then I wanted to change the URL from localhost to something that would allow it to be accessible to other people on my network (specifically I changed it to my LAN IP), and now I am having issues. Firstly, my website is completely deformatted and just a white page with colored text (as you can see). Secondly, I can’t access my WP Dashboard anymore. I’ve tried going into wp-config.php and changing the URL back to localhost and I’ve tried going to wp-login.php through my browser (which brings me to a login page that looks a lot like my website now in terms of the text on a white background) but neither of those have done anything. How do I fix this?

I am a complete newbie to WordPress, so thank you for any help!

  1. What you are talking about is not being a complete newbie to WordPress, but being a complete newbie to actual website hosting. That’s not an insult, but I need to know how much you understand about how web servers work in order to give you useful information.

Using Xampp is a good choice, but really doesn’t tell me if you are knowledgeable about it or unknowing of the details of Apache config files.
