WordPress layout not responsive on different devices

Hi, I'm a newbie to wordpress, and I'm making a site for someone using Elementor. On WordPress, I've made the site responsive by changing the sizes of elements with the tablet/phone/desktop toggles, and when I view it on my phone/laptop/desktop, it's all normal, but when my client looks at it on their tablet, the layout is all jumbled up.
