Hi all,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I’m currently building a site, that I’m hoping to get a “newsletter” functionality added to it.
The newsletters will be whenever something comes up, nothing scheduled / repeated on a set basis.
I currently use a SMTP service, so sending emails isn’t an issue, I just need some guidance on how newsletters work, and the best plugin / way of setting this up.
Any advise, guides, YT videos, plugins recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I use MailChimp for my newsletter. it connects easily with your website and its newsletter builder is super easy.
you can setup up a static newsletter where you just have to plug in simple HTML code. you can also set up a pop-up newsletter.
you absolutely will need a pop-up because they have way higher conversion rates than a static newsletter.
Besides Mailchimp, there are tons of newsletter plugins you can find on WP. I would recommend trying out a few and seeing which ones work best for your site.
