I hope my title explains it! I’m using a self hosted [wordpress.org](http://wordpress.org), and I’m trying to create a site as a favour for some people I know. I haven’t used WordPress for a long time, and in my fiddling with the themes, customization, block editing etc, I’ve made a terrible mess of everything. However, I’ve learned a fair bit!
But what I want to do now is to destroy everything and start with a clean slate. In particular, there’s a block from the original theme which I’ve deleted by mistake, and which I’d now like to get back. Is there any way to either
1. Recreate a block from the original theme?
2. Destroy a site completely and start afresh – a scorched-earth approach?
Many thanks!

2. Scorched earth approach.
Use WordPress Studio to build a new website locally and then upload the finished website to your hosting.
Keep in mind, that if you haven’t updated or touched your website for a long time, you will probably have to update the PHP version on your hosting.
