WordPress photo gallery/marketplace that redirects to external sites?

[ad_1]

Hi guys! (big virtual hugs from Australia for anyone who answers this!!!)

I basically want to create a ‘shop’ on my WordPress blog which is a marketplace-style emporium showcasing products from other seller’s sites. So when the person clicks the product to purchase it, you’re redirected from my website straight to the seller’s own website and product/pay page…

I just want to be the signpost to showcase other people’s amazing products for now…

Eventually I’d like to sell through my website, but for now I want to promote local sellers with no commission, just to kickstart more views to my website / open up networking opps/ allow for collaborations.

I don’t even know what to google to find the information I’m looking for here!! Can anyone tell me if this is a “thing”… is it easy to set up??

Can you recomend a tutorial for this specific thing?

Better yet, do you know any websites which use this method that I can use for inspiration?? Thanks!! :))))))

  1. Its a good idea to promote your local vendors to achieve external redirect “Go to “WooCommerce” > “Products” > “Add New.” Fill in the product details (title, description, price, etc.) for the product you want to showcase. In the “Product Data” section, choose “External/Affiliate product” from the dropdown. Enter the external product URL (the seller’s website or product/pay page) in the “Product URL” field. In the “Product Data” section, find the “Button text” field. This is the text that will appear on the button or link. Enter something like “Buy Now” or “Visit Seller’s Website.”
