WordPress search – showing linebreaks in titles – is it possible to strip these?

Hey all,

So the client wants linebreaks in the titles which is fine but the problem comes when you use the search function. It doesn’t strip tags so you end up with lineone<br />linetwo for example.

Is there a solution for this please?
