Hi all!
We’re working on a project for a client and when our IT team transferred the domain we somehow lost access to the dashboard. The old WordPress site wasn’t deleted but the login no longer works and we need to insert a plug-in for their client portal and pull user data for those with accounts with access to the client portal.
I asked our IT guy what he thinks and he said someone with experience configuring a LAMP stack needs to prevent the IP from mapping to atmosair.com URL inside the old instance in AWS (Amazon Server). My CEO and I have been discussing and researching different options and are at a loss so we wanted to see if anyone would be able to help.
We have the login information for their domain hosting site, Client Portal account and AWS, but are not sure where to begin looking or implementing a solution. We switched them over to Cloudways and they said they are unable to help. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated – this is urgent, happy to get on a call if needed.

If you only need temporary access, why not set up the routing in your desktop’s HOSTS file?
Do you have a backup ? can you restore from backup and then use a cloning plugin to transfer the site again ? I am not crazy about Cloudways because it is a bit too technical for the average WordPress user and their caching plugin can be a nightmare to configure properly. I would suggest SITEGROUND.
