I host a client site: [www.trubuild.co.za](http://www.trubuild.co.za)
Client notified me this morning that the site is down. I have established that the domain registration is current and the hosting shows the site is active. However, when trying to access the WordPress login page, it gives a ‘not found’ error. We have got into the FTP and tried reinstalling the .HTAccess folder, and have renamed the theme and plugin folders to resolve conflicts there, however nothing changes on the site end.
Any idea how we can regain access to WordPress?

Are the DNS nameservers still correct? The domain could be pointing to the wrong place.
This isn’t related to WordPress – it’s a hosting issue. The client may not have paid their hosting bill. Or it’s possible that there isn’t a valid file in the web root eg index.php.
