WordPress site slow and buggy on new Macbook Pro running Ventura but lightning fast on BF’s Thinkpad. Both are running Chrome. Could there some kind of security setting I have wrong?

The site running slow during the design process is something I can deal with. The main problem is that I cannot get my products to connect from Printful to Woocommerce, but I think the entire site running slow is an indicator of a deeper problem, which is what brought me here.

Is there some kind of mac specific security setting that could be causing WordPress to run slow?
